Cu Chi Tunnels – Mekong Cruise Full-day
The Cu Chi Tunnels are located only 60 kilometers northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Mekong boats pass by 4 islands: Long (Dragon), Lân (Unicorn), Quy (Turtle), and Phung (Phoenix). Visit the floating home in the river, a characteristic feature of the South. Enjoy a barbecue while learning how to cook from a local chef.
At your hotel, driver and tour guide will pick you up and transfer to the Cu Chi tunnels.
You learn more about the Viet Cong’s construction of Cu Chi hamlet, how we managed to win the war despite having little food or medicine, and the specific events that happened there during the conflict after an hour and a half of travel.
Thousands of Vietnamese people found refuge in the Cu Chi Tunnels during the Vietnam War.
Complete your journey through the Cu Chi Tunnels before moving on to the Mekong Delta.
Head to Tien Giang for lunch.
After that, take a boat to the bee farm across the Mekong River. You can enjoy the honey tee and snap photos with the Mekong Delta’s signature finger bananas and pythons.
Relax by indulging in “Đờn Ca Tài Tử” at the neighborhood house of culture, a unique feature of Southern culture, and then head to the coconut candy factory to watch the farmer make coconut candies.
On the way back, you’ll pass a fishing community with a lot of floating homes where you can see how fishermen live.
Go back to Ho Chi Minh City. The tour comes to an end at your house or hotel.
